Easy Peach Cobbler

Batter:

  • 1/2 c melted butter
  • 1 c flour
  • 1 c granulated sugar
  • 2 t baking powder
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 2/3 c room temperature milk
  • 1 room temperature egg
Filling:

  • 1 (28 or 29 oz) can sliced peaches drained
  • 1 c granulated sugar
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • 1/2 nutmeg
1.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Melt butter in a 9 X 13 pan.

2.  Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk and egg. Pour evenly over melted butter. DO NOT STIR with melted butter.

3.  Combine peaches, sugar and spices and spread over batter. DO NOT STIR! 
Bake for 35-45 minutes until batter comes up to the top and is golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream.
